About Us

About Us | Child Rights Blog — DEVISE

The Child Rights Blog, an initiative of DEVISE, is a dedicated forum for students, academicians, practitioners, and frontline workers to engage critically with issues surrounding children’s rights.

Through this engagement, the Blog encourages interdisciplinary research, grounded field observations, and public scholarship on pressing systemic issues affecting children—from access to inclusive education to child protection and juvenile justice.

About DEVISE

DEVISE Charitable Trust is a registered public charitable trust established in 2018, dedicated to advancing educational equity, legal rights, and social justice for underserved communities.

Our work is anchored directly on the ground through five learning and resource centres (Sab La Sikshan evam Rozgar Sahayta Kendra) operating in Bihar. These centres deliver foundational, play-based learning and literacy programmes tailored for first-generation learners, while simultaneously functioning as community anchors for legal empowerment.

Through our regular documentation camps, we ensure families secure statutory welfare entitlements—including identity credentials, ration cards, and social security provisions. Through initiatives like the Sayukti Youth Fellowship, we mentor and train youth from marginalised settlements in research, legal literacy, and paralegal skills, equipping them with the tools to advocate independently for their community’s rights.
